Piri Piri Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 15 ml garlic powder – 15 ml smoked paprika – 15 ml onion powder
  • 1-2 tbsp. medium or hot piri piri sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 4 medium carrots
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. plain yogurt
  • 10 ml garlic powder – 10 ml dried dill
  • 1/2 cup medium or hot piri piri sauce

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the flour with the milk, spices, Piri Piri sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  4. Add the cauliflower pieces to the mixture. Dip and cover with a thin layer of the mixture then place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake the cauliflower in the oven for 24-28 minutes until browned, turning it halfway through cooking.
  6. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the yogurt, spices and pepper.
  7. Add 1-2 tbsp. of water for a more runny sauce.
  8. When the cauliflower is cooked, put it in a bowl with the Piri Piri sauce. Mix gently.
  9. Serve the cauliflower wings with the vegetables and ranch sauce.
