Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup Casa Das Tias ghost pepper sauce
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise, to coat the chicken
- 2 tbsp. of water
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs of your choice (cornflakes or panko)
- 2 burger buns
- 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. of dried dill or fresh chopped dill
- 4 leaves of romaine lettuce, thinly sliced
- Dill pickle slices, to taste
- Vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl, whisk the mayonnaise with the water, salt and pepper.
- Place the breadcrumbs in another bowl.
- Dip the chicken into the bowl of mayonnaise and coat well. Transfer in the bowl of breadcrumbs and coat well.
- Heat a generous drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- When the oil is hot, cook the chicken pieces for about 1-2 minutes on each side until browned.
- Place on absorbent paper to remove the excess oil then transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the chicken in the oven for 14-16 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, pour the ghost pepper sauce over the chicken.
- Mix the mayonnaise with the dill and some ground black pepper.
- Top the burger buns with the dill mayonnaise, lettuce, chicken and pickle slices.
